Not being agreeable got me to the position of CEO. I am focused, ruthless, and yes, sometimes nasty. However, it serves its purpose, which is all that matters to me. The people I work with don’t agree. My friends and family all say that I need to work on my articulacy. Because of this, I constantly have Zoey Thomas following me around.

Colton is focused, merciless, and obsessed with his profession. His main weakness is in interpersonal communication, which is where Zoey comes in. As soon as Zoey enters Colton’s office, he has just one thing on his mind: getting rid of her. But no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to lose this tenacious lady. Colton develops a new perspective on Zoey as their time together progresses. She’s perfect in every way, but she’s off-limits to him.
Flirting with the CEO is a charming romance that stands well on its own. This story appealed to me since gloomy sunlight and matchmaking romances are two of my favourite tropes. Colton and Zoey made an adorable couple. Colton was irritable and goal-oriented in his work. The sudden appearance of Zoey flipped his world upside down. Zoey was courageous and kind enough to face Colton head on. She was able to push him beyond of his comfort zone and reveal a side of him I had never seen before. I think the connection between Colton and Zoey was fantastic, and I loved their narrative immensely.
Right about now is when I should bring up Colton’s grandma. Being in her company was always a lot of fun. She had good intentions and wasn’t hesitant to intervene in her grandsons’ lives to achieve them. She definitely kept me on my toes, and I can’t wait to read the first books in the series to see what more she gets into.
