The narrative of Better Than Best Friends centres on the narratives of two close friends. Sarthak and Suprathik, both of whom identify as gay and are from India, have developed love feelings for one another. They are constantly being condemned by their friends and family, yet in spite of this, they end up falling in love with one another. They continue to date despite the fact that their mutual friends do not approve of the relationship.
This book does a fantastic job of showing the challenges that come with being open about your sexual orientation or gender identity in India. Even more, the characters are brought to life through the storytelling. The conclusion was the only section that readers did not enjoy. After that really jarring conclusion, readers are going to be left wanting more from the author. Extremely tough are the struggles, obstructions, and hostile stares that members of India’s LGBT community still have to contend with.
But in a country with such strict social norms, is it even possible to fall in love with your best friend? Get a copy for your own reading pleasure.
About the Author
Ahona Sadhu is a student at Jadavpur University in Kolkata, where she studies English literature. When she has the time, she also writes. In spite of her hectic schedule as a student, she makes time for writing, which she has found to be very soothing.

There is no better book out there than this one; everyone should read it. I really appreciate the author’s meticulous attention to detail. Reads more like a movie than a book. I think the author did an amazing job, and I love the story.
The book was fantastic, and I enjoyed it very much; in fact, I think it would be a good choice for a first novel because it includes elements of romance, action, suspense, and relaxation. I’ve never been much of a reader, but I’ve taken more of an interest in books lately, and this one has me hooked. If you don’t mind a slightly subpar printing job, I’d recommend giving it a shot. In conclusion, the book is excellent, and you should read it without hesitation.
In a nutshell, it’s the tale of two best friends who develop romantic feelings for one another.

I was afraid the first few pages would be dull, but I urge you not to give up on this book just yet. Because your mind and expectations are in for a bumpy ride after that. All of a sudden, your mind will be a chaotic mess, full of random ideas. A nighttime reading experience is recommended if… If you haven’t read it yet, I highly suggest you do so. Simply put, this is a stunning book. As for me, there was a certain point where I just couldn’t put the book down, and now I’m wishing there was a second printing.
