More About the Story
The execution of Kamran’s grandpa was ordered by Cyrus, the king of the neighbouring nation of Tulan. Alizeh has been brought back to Cyrus’s country, and the two are planning to get married there. He will fulfil the terms of his own bargain with the devil in order to ensure that she is successful in achieving her goal of ascending to the throne of the Jinn. He will do this by providing her with the necessary resources.
Alizeh is not interested in the arrangement that Cyrus has made with the devil or in the devil himself. But because there is no other way out of Tulan, and because her fate is so close at hand, she has to decide whether or not she can triumph over her emotions and become the queen that her people so richly deserve.
In the meantime, Kamran is working on putting everything back together in Ardunia. About the Author
On November 9, 1988, Mafi was born in a little town in Connecticut. She has four older brothers, making her the baby of the family. Mafi was born to Iranian parents. She moved to Orange County with her family when she was 14 years old, after she and her family had previously lived in Northern California.
Mafi attended University High School in Irvine, California, and graduated. In time, she earned her degree from Soka University of America in nearby Aliso Viejo, California. To differing degrees, she is fluent in eight different tongues. She spent a semester of college in Barcelona, Spain. She was able to immerse herself in the Spanish language throughout this trip.
The Shatter Me trilogy made her famous, and each book in the series has a dystopian setting and a protagonist with special abilities. Creativeness, lyricism, and even poetry can be seen in Mafi’s writing.
