La asesina y el señor de los piratas Book Summary
My introduction to Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass universe did not begin with The Assassin and the Pirate Lord. Instantly, Celaena’s personality captivated me. I liked that she was a cold-blooded killer who didn’t give a damn about what others thought of her. Initially, I couldn’t decide what I thought of Sam. It took me some time to start feeling comfortable around him.
I enjoyed this novella largely because to its setting. Pirates have always held a special allure for me. I’ve always had a thing for pirates, from Blackbeard to Jack Sparrow. I enjoyed this novella since it was set on an island ruled by the Lord of the Pirates. It seemed plausible from Maas’s description that the island may exist in the Caribbean.
