He is Chicago’s most dangerous guy, and I am his latest target.
Smouldering, green eyes. The ink is black. A killer’s grin… holy crap, what a grin…
The last place I expect to end up when I’m pulled to a hidden nightclub is the owner’s office. After he saves me from a drunken weirdo, though, I find myself in that very situation.
Stuck in a room with a stunning man who introduces himself as Andrei Zherdev… yet the common name for the head of the Russian mafia is “Pakhan.”
I suddenly found myself calling out his name. Then, when he gets a business call, I’m cowering under his desk. That’s how I find out about my bleak future.
When you sleep with a Bratva boss, you become his property. Forever. There’s just one catch to that plan. I have no family or friends.
Only if he were on board.

King of Ruin Book Summary
There are many interesting points to think about in “King of Ruin,” the first book in the Soulless Empire Series by Sasha Leone, an accomplished author well-known for her expertise in the Bratva/Mafia Romance genre, and Jade Rowe, whose literary contributions I have not yet explored. I had hoped for nothing less than stellar quality from Ms. Leone, given her history of always delivering such works. Unfortunately, the person in question did not work with another writer, and it is important to remember that collaborative efforts do not always provide the intended results.
This group has written a fantastic Bratva Romance story that has all I look for in a well-told love story and more. After beginning the literary work named “King of Ruin,” I was immediately drawn in to the point that I found it very difficult to put the book down. As a result, I was so engrossed that I forgot about making meals for my family for two days because I was too preoccupied with the book.
My devotion to the aforementioned literary work also caused me to miss work for 1.5 days, during which time I did not fulfil any of my professional responsibilities. As if it weren’t enough, I showed utter contempt for the intrusions of the outside world by ignoring the doorbell and the phone. In addition, I don’t feel any remorse whatsoever. Remarkably, “King of Ruin” manages to keep readers on the edge of their seats the whole time. The reader is never sure of what will happen next; they may or may not figure out who is hiding information, how Natalya will get out of her sticky situation, or whether or not Andrei will figure out who is after him and why before his kingdom falls.
Numerous episodes from Natalya and Andrei’s childhoods are included in the work under consideration, providing insight into the characters and eliciting strong emotions from the reader. Notably, Natalya feels deceived since Andrei is engaged to the daughter of an Italian mobster. Among works of literature, this one stands out as one of the most compelling because of the deep effect it leaves on the reader. The book’s extraordinary features stemmed, in no little part, from the intricate narrative that had to have presented substantial obstacles to the authors. Now that I know a group of writers who specialise in Bratva and Mafia stories have written Book 2 in the Soulless Empire Series, I’m finding it impossible to wait for its publication. The only thing I can say is that you should get your hands on this book right now.
