I. PLOT
Magnus the Red’s story may be the saddest of all the Emperor’s sons who followed Chaos. The Crimson King has reason to feel vengeful after being punished for his curiosity, reprimanded, judged, and reduced to rubble. However, he is not simply motivated by vengeance to join the Warmaster besieging army on Terra. He is looking for something—a piece of himself, perhaps—in the most secure location on the world, the Imperial Palace. As the age-old conflict heats up, Magnus wages a war within himself. For him to be complete again, he must not only break through the most formidable defences, but also confront the one being he loves and hates with equal intensity: his rebellious father, the Emperor of Mankind.
About Plot of Fury of Magnus
It’s a legendary era. The whole cosmos is on fire. The wonderful ideal the Emperor had for mankind has been destroyed. Favoured son Horus, however, rejected his father’s teachings and sided with the forces of darkness. His troops, the formidable Space Marines, are embroiled in a bloody civil war. Once upon a time, these legendary combatants battled as brothers to save the galaxy and lead humanity back into the Emperor’s grace.
They are at odds with one another at the moment. While some still support the Emperor, others have chosen to support the Warmaster. The primarchs stand out as the most notable members of the Imperium, since they command the Legions that number in the thousands. They are the magnificent, superhuman pinnacle of the Emperor’s genetic research. Thrown into conflict, neither side can be sure of coming out on top. Planets are in flames. Horus struck a terrible strike against Isstvan V, almost wiping out three faithful Legions. The struggle that will eventually consume all of humanity has started.
Honour and nobility have been hijacked by treachery and treason. There are assassins hiding in every corner. The armed forces are massing. To survive, everyone must choose a side. Horus gathers his fleet, and he sets his sights on Earth. The Emperor is waiting for his wayward son to return from exile as he sits on the Golden Throne. But the primal power of Chaos, which strives to subjugate humanity to its fickle whims, is his real adversary.
If the Emperor fails and the battle is lost, everyone will suffer and be damned, and the cries of the innocent and the pleading of the righteous will echo to the cruel laughter of the Dark Gods. All hope is lost at this point. The clouds roll in, as massive armies begin to form. Because the future of the Throneworld, of humanity, depends on it… The assault on Terra has started.

Fury of Magnus Book Summary
I know I mentioned I wouldn’t necessarily be reading any more books in The Siege of Terra series, but when I found out that this was considered a novella, I couldn’t resist the notion of reading about Magnus having a meeting with both the Emperor and Vulkan. I hope you like this novella as much as I did! Consequently, here I am.
Because it was just necessary to cover Magnus and the people circling this particular interaction, the point of view was able to be more narrowly focused, which I found to be both enjoyable and beneficial. In spite of the fact that I had never read anything else that dealt with Bjarni or the Draakguard before, I still found that reading about them was interesting. The Perpetual plot continues to confuse me, but I assume that this is mainly due to the fact that the Perpetual story is a little bit weird and I haven’t been following along with this book to book.
Magnus is an interesting Pri march to follow, he’s at a very interesting crossroads here, and, hey, this has both the Emperor and Vulkan in it (even if only briefly). All in all, this was fulfilling.
