My brother’s best buddy, Kylian Baxter, and I accidently dirty danced in a London bar five years ago. After that, I ran away to New York City to avoid ever seeing him again.
Now that we’re both in Hong Kong, though, we happened to run into each other, and he’s back in my life.
Even after five years, he hasn’t changed a bit.
Charming.
Sexy.
Extremely well-off.
Irre-f-cking-sistible.
And it’s the source of all my frustration.
He does the unthinkable and offers me a job at his new casino, where our chemistry ignites every time we’re together.
It meets all of my needs and more.
This is a good reason to stay with him.
Can I really move on and include him in my future plans?
Or, not telling my brother the truth about the secret has kept us apart for the past five years.
The only thing I can say for sure is that we’ll need more than luck to succeed.
Daisy Allen’s Luck is the second installment in her The Baxter Billionaires series; it’s a sizzling contemporary romance with no cheating and a happily ever after.
About The Author Daisy Allen
Daisy Allen is typical of a Romance Novelist. A shy, snooty, daydreaming-about-big-breasts-and-bigger-loins type who prefers to sit in the corner and stare out the window. She simply looks out the window to procrastinate from her work on heaving bosoms and engorged loins, isn’t quiet, dislikes mice, and is too short for any form of cloud reachage.
She was meant to work in a medical research lab and save lives in a past life, but she got up when it was still light out and was good with numbers, so that didn’t happen. She found that her favourite thing to do was to stay up for days on end watching Netflix and then go on caffeine fueled writing binges until she fell asleep from too much sugar.
She enjoys long walks on the beach, though, especially if it means finding the keys her husband dropped in the sand. Her narratives are rife with sexual tension and protracted professions of doomed love. In every way, it was typical of a romance author.
Luck Book Summary
This was a good book to read, but there were a lot of mistakes in the language. Because of the mistakes, I had to read words more than once. And the story about Kiara’s ex-boyfriend was rushed at the end, making it feel like it didn’t belong.
