My Best Friend, My Stalker Book Summary
I’ll read any and all novels about stalkers you throw at me. If I’d known this was coming out, it would have been on my to-read pile a long time ago. My Husband, My Stalker was one of my favourite books ever, so I had high hopes for this one. Though the other was good, I preferred the other.
In this one, Peyton is fleeing her stepbrother, who attempted molestation, in the wee hours of the night when she encounters a man in a Mustang heading in the opposite direction. After Granger knocks out her stepbrother, he basically rescues her and brings her to his place. He can’t help but be attracted to her, but after what happened with her brother, he doesn’t want to frighten her away. She lets him talk her into staying because she trusts him.
….but he’s completely obsessed and won’t let her be alone. He poses as a caretaker and follows her throughout the school. After learning that the guy asked her out, he threatens another teacher at her school. Simply put, his obsession is insane.
She discovers that he had been watching her from outside the classroom window one night, and she panics and tries to escape; however, he fuckin’ takes her out, drags her home, and ties her to his bed. My goodness. In the end, she finds that she really enjoys it.
Consequently, as is customary in such literature, the HEA occurs. In the final chapter, we learn that Granger did something (spoiler alert), and when Peyton learns that Granger doesn’t run, she’s much more attracted to her. Haha, they’re quite the wacky couple.
Adorable and definitely worth a scan. If you enjoy stories about stalkers, you might enjoy this one more.
