I’m the only woman employed by the Windy City Warriors, and I’m hoping to start my dream career with a different club in 2019 after enduring years of being treated unfairly by the organization’s chief physician. For my last season in Chicago, all I have to do is keep up my professional standing.
All of that is jeopardized, though, by a run-in with the team’s shortstop in Las Vegas, which leaves me with a ring on my left hand and hazy memories.
