His external demeanour is that of a sweet kid, nerd, and mamma’s boy; nevertheless, underlying it all lurks a man who is coldly analytical and dexterous in his approach.
Silver is pulled emotionally between her two incredibly successful parents who are no longer together. She adores them, and they adore her, so naturally, she wants to do everything she can to make them happy and keep them that way. Silver moulded her personality and character so that she could play the role that was best suited to them. As a direct consequence of this, she does not have any genuine friends remaining and instead is surrounded by pretenders.
Cole and Silver have been great friends ever since they were both young children. To put it more succinctly, they abhor one another. Silver makes an effort to conceal the depth of her feelings for Cole. When she is in his presence, it’s as if she switches into “brat mode,” which makes her appear inept. Their connection is strained as a result of their parents’ decision to get married at the same time as Cole is making fun of Silver’s act while also attempting to seduce her.
Theirs was a difficult relationship, but not as challenging or terrible as the ones in forbidden novels. After their happily ever after was complete, it was some time before they revealed to the world how they truly felt about one another.
Review
My personal favourite section of the novel is the chapter in which Guv and the doll go on their excursion. This tale is every bit as dark and convoluted as Cole himself. The identity of the villain was not at all revealed. Even if the plot of Cole and Silver’s narrative was more engaging than that of Knight and Kim, the series as a whole is starting to lose its appeal. The story fails to reach its potential because of an incomprehensible dullness, despite the fact that Rina Kent is capable of writing an exciting climax. If you’ve been keeping up with the series up to this point, you won’t want to miss out on Cole and Silver’s adventure.
Conclusion
The conclusion of the series can be found in this very last part. I’m so relieved because I absolutely adored it; after getting started on Levi and Astrid’s journey. I couldn’t put my Kindle down and ended up staying up all night reading it. I’m so glad it’s over because I was so invested in it. The story told by Aiden and Elsa, the one told by Ronan and Teal, and the story told by Xander and Kim all followed the same pattern (Xan and Kim are my fave couple).
Not my cup of tea are intricate confrontations in which it appears that every character would suffer irreversible injury as a result of the fight. When the two main characters are first told the histories of the other horsemen. I, like the two main characters, did not like the other horsemen. They sent out a really toxic and disorganised vibe to the environment. The focus is on Cole’s contribution. They were always at each other’s throats. And they shared the key character flaws that I dislike the most in other people the most: stubbornness, pride, and secrecy.
The surprising twist towards the end of the novel compelled me to read it quickly. To me, it doesn’t matter that the story waited until the very end to tell the truth. The query caught me off guard. We weren’t prepared for that at all. The amazing skill of the writer is on full display here. Period. To be honest. This novel shivered me.
