The princess shouldn’t try to topple the monarchy.
Elsa
He threatened to kill me and then he did it.
Even if I do end up losing this fight, I still have a chance to win the war.
One simple move, so the story goes, can bring down the monarch.
Nobody warned me that he’d drag me down with him.
Aiden
Steel’s tiny princess can have her war if she so chooses.
My rules are the sole rules, period.
Sure, baby, show me what you’ve got.
Steel Princess is the sequel to the first novel in the Royal Elite series, Deviant King. This is a serious young adult novel about a bully in high school, and it has some questionable scenarios that some readers might find objectionable.
This book is NOT a stand-alone; it is the first in a trilogy.

About The Author Rina Kent
Rina Kent is the best-selling author of all things enemies-to-lovers romance on Amazon, the New York Times, and the USA Today.
As a result of her penchant for falling in love with men no one would ever root for, she is notorious for writing unrepentant anti-heroes and villains. Her writing has a tinge of gloom, a dash of anxiety, and an excess of intensity.
She lives in London and spends her time in private cackling at the thought of bringing more chaos into the world. When she’s not writing, Rina goes on adventures, pamper her pets, and travels the world.
Steel Princess Book Summary
Aiden is still a creepy hot psycho, and Elsa is still an unresolved, confused bundle of unremembered baggage.
I haven’t figured out who pushed her into the pool or why, but that seems to be the nature of trilogies. All throughout the novel, they build you up, and then at the end… BANG. Extremely tense conclusion!
The narrative was told well, and Rina’s writing style is one that I enjoy.
Aiden remains a puzzle to me in many ways. He’ll say something unpleasant one minute then something lovely the next.
I haven’t quite figured out his connections to the other characters yet.
They’re known as the “four horsemen,” although they’re not really friendly with one another. The book mainly consisted of characters stabbing each other at various points.
Other than that, I’ve really appreciated the story. It was awesome to see Elsa question things and Aiden choose her over his father.
I’m hoping that loose ends were finally addressed in the final volume.
