The day began normally enough: on the train, early in the morning.
That is, until I started staring at the guy in the next seat.
He was yelling into his phone as if he were king.
The pompous suit clearly believed himself to be divine.
In fact, he resembled a deity. We finished up with that.
His stop having arrived, he abruptly exited. He left so abruptly that he misplaced his phone.
It’s possible that I grabbed it.
It’s possible that I looked at all of his pictures and dialled a few of the numbers listed.
It’s possible I hung on to the mystery man’s phone for days before working up the nerve to give it back.
I made the effort to travel across town to his posh firm, but he flat-out rejected my visit.
I finally got fed up with the conceited guy and just left the phone on his vacant desk.
However, I may have previously left a soiled image on it.
His text message reply surprised me.
I had no idea that our conversations would be so steamy.
I had no idea I would feel so strongly about him before we’d even met.
We were as dissimilar as night and day from each other.
But what they say about polar opposites is well known.
When we were finally face to face, we discovered that opposites don’t always attract; we ended up devouring each other.
I had no idea what a wild ride he had in store for me. When the ride was ended, I had no idea where I would be.
It’s inevitable that all nice things must eventually cease.
But I was surprised by our unexpected ending.

Stuck-Up Suit Book Summary
This book has been widely praised, so I decided to add it to my listening queue. I really appreciate the fact that I took their advice. Absolutely amazing!
‘Stuck-Up Suit’ is a great pick if you enjoy films with strong, independent female protagonists and leading men who beg to be changed. Soraya has quickly become one of my favourite protagonists. She gave as good as she got, and I appreciated that. Graham had to put in some serious effort to get her attention, which was precisely what the proud suit needed. Whenever she opened her mouth, I knew it would be filled with something humorous.
It will take some time to adjust to Graham. You can’t help but feel animosity against him. He is as low as they come. His disruptive behaviour was so extreme that I immediately liked him as a character. What can I say, I have a soft spot for jerks.
with contrast to the “heavier” stories I’d been reading, this book had me doubling over with laughter from the very first page. This pair had the funniest exchanges. I thought it was great how Soraya put Graham in his place. The advise she gave in her column was gold.
As would have been anticipated, tensions were high between them. They genuinely improved each other’s lives. There was a lot of space for growth, especially for Graham. They were perfect for one another. As the saying goes, “opposites attract.”
It also shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that these two have a decent amount of drama. The couple finally seems to be getting back on track when Graham’s manipulative ex-girlfriend tries to dig her hooks back into him. The stress it caused was well worth the effort, though.
Overall, this was a fantastic tale. It was delightful, heartwarming, and funny. The narrator did a fantastic job. Despite the predictability, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. What works, sometimes, is what works! This book helped me a lot.
