Twisted Emotions Book Summary
In this tale of mafia love, the couple’s union was arranged. Two tragic characters, each with a history of abuse and an uncertain future as a result of that abuse. The Falcone brothers, especially Remo and Nino, have always been my heroes; yet, the Camorra brothers epitomise the ideal of a powerful and devoted mafia family.
To further cement his position inside the Famiglia, Nino Falcone has decided to tie the knot. Remember Kiara Vitiello from Bound of Love and a brief appearance in Sweet Temptation? Her cousin Luca murdered their traitorous father. Kiara can legally be married because she’s 19. Her adopted family and the community at large often look down on her because of her father’s bad reputation. She’s afraid to marry Nino because she knows he’s dangerous and she has a secret that could end her life.
Nino is cold and unfeeling. He has no plans besides settling down with a wife for the sake of obligation. Kiara is caught in a nightmare from the past; she was afraid to live with the Camorra brothers and her heartless husband. After learning Kiara’s history, Nino served her with justice. He reassures her that she is loved and cared for by his family and gently guides her through the process of facing her concerns. I enjoy watching the conflict between Savio and Adamo, as well as Remo’s psychotic cruelty among the Camorra brothers.
Nino and Kiara’s sequel is titled Twisted Emotions. Those interested in the mafia genre should read this series.
